Rambles about Captain Howdie's artwork

Captain Howdie's art has been fascinating to me for a long time now, i don't mean only the Randal's friends comics (They are still amazing, especially the paneling) but their other works : Acrylic paintings, ink illustrations, coloring with pencils, flipnote animations, pixel animations, etc.
It's a big variety of mediums and i am still saddened that the majority of it was lost when their deviantart account was suddenly deleted, it felt like losing a museum (Although their website still has a quarter of it archived in the gallery)
Still, something i do not see anyone speak about is about how Captain Howdie's art has really wonderful colors choices, that was the first thing that i noticed as a randal kinnie showed me the website.
He sure as hell wasn't a good person, but he showed me art that i still regard high.
Here are some examples :
They might not impress anyone but i am, as someone who fucking sucks at color picking even in digital, their color choices look natural but of course it is since they have been shown to at least being active in art since 2011 and even in that now abandoned deviantart account the colors are amazing and the direction they were going for their characters was already there, only needing polishing that came with experience and that's now the LUCID comics! (Personally i think the peak Lucid issues were at the Rat arc)
But talking about the comics is a whole another thing and i don't feel like writting about it today, can say for sure that they are so easy to read, i have this issue of "Can't fucking follow where comics want me to read" that has been caused by the panels being hard to follow? This might be just me, but manga panels on the other side are really easy.
Something something, Captain Howdie is openly otaku so manga inspiration in their comics is most likely what made it easier to follow.
